TYLER, TX (KLTV) - The Parade of Homes is just around the corner, and East Texas builders are working hard to get the latest, cool features in the houses.
Kitchens are becoming the new hangout spot in the house. So homeowners and builders are packing them full with new features that are both practical and good for social gatherings.
One of the really cool, new features is the cabinets; when they close they don't slam shut.
"The types of hinges are self closing so they won't allow it to slam," said home builder Todd Williams.
